Share Your Contacts Externally
You can share a list of your contacts with someone who isn’t on your team with our “Share Contacts Externally” feature.
First, you’ll need to create the list of contacts you want to share. To do this, use the filter modal. Apply filters to your contact list until you're happy with it.
You won't be able to change this list later on. Make sure that whatever filters you are applying to your contact list is exactly the list you want to share.
Once you have your list of contacts ready, click the “Share Contacts” button in the top right corner of the page.
Now you’ll just follow our 3-step flow to share your contacts externally!
First, give your external view a name and check to make sure you’re happy with the contact list you are going to share.
Next, you’ll set how much information about your contacts you want to share. You can also set a timer on how long people will have access to this contact list.
The last step is to select who you want to share your contacts with. Search in the search bar, and then select “add” to add them to the list of people you are sharing with. You can also preview the email we will send out before it’s sent by clicking “See email preview”.
Great work! You’ve just shared your 4Degrees contacts. You can view the contact list by selecting the External View name. You can view and edit the permissions you set by selecting the “view/edit” button. You can reshare the link to this external view by getting a shareable link. You can delete this view, making it immediately inaccessible to everyone, by clicking the purple "X" ico.
If you want to make changes to the view you created later on, you can access this page by navigating to the contact list page. Then find the 3-dot menu and select “Manage External Views”.
