How do I merge duplicate companies?

Be careful when merging duplicate companies, this process cannot be undone.

There are two ways to merge duplicate companies in 4Degrees:

1. Potential Duplicate Companies List

To see a list of all potential duplicate companies navigate to the companies list, click the 3 dot menu and select "Merge Duplicate Companies"

2. Merge Companies Together in the Companies List

1. To merge Duplicate companies, go to Contacts on the Dashboard and then to Companies.

2. Using the Search bar, search for the companies that are duplicates

3. Once the companies appear, select the checkboxes to the left of the individual companies and then select 'Merge companies' immediately above the Companies table.

4. A pop up will appear for you to confirm merging the companies. After confirming the companies to be merged, click 'Ok'.

5. The companies will be merged into one consolidated record, with all the information across the two merged into that one company.
