Pushing updates in 4Degrees to your Outlook Contacts
- Click here to accept an invite to use our Zapier integration. If you do not yet have a Zapier account, feel free to register one.
2. Once you've created (or signed into your account) and accepted the invite to use our Zapier integration, you'll arrive at this screen. Click the "+" button ("Make A Zap") in the top left hand corner.
3. From here, you'll land on a screen asking you to a trigger ("When this happens..."). In the "Choose App" section - search "4Degrees", and select "4degrees-export". In the "Choose Trigger Event" section, select "Contact Edits".
4. From here, you'll be asked to choose your account. Click the dropdown menu and select "Add New Account". You'll then be asked to enter your 4Degrees credentials into the window that pops up:
5. After entering your credentials, you'll have an opportunity to test this to ensure it's working - "Click Test and Continue", and the system will look for new contacts you've edited recently in 4Degrees.
6. You'll then move to the next section in the Zap ("Do this"). Here, you'll search for Microsoft Outlook in the "Choose App" section, and select "Update Contact" in the "Choose Trigger Event" section.
7. Similar to the above, you'll be asked to sign into your Microsoft Outlook account in the next section.
8. You'll then be given a number of fields for your contacts in Outlook that you can map data from 4Degrees to. For each field you'd like updated from 4Degrees, select the input area and select the relevant field from 4Degrees that should populate it. Zapier will also load a sample contact from 4Degrees that you can use to to ensure you get the right data in the right places.
9. After you've confirmed you have the data mapped to the right fields, click "Test and Continue".
10. Once the test is successful, turn your Zap on!
