How do I include my linkedin connections

If you want all of your LinkedIn contacts imported into 4Degrees - you can do a LinkedIn export and then import that list into 4Degrees.

To export your LinkedIn contacts:

• Login to LinkedIn (if you're not already!) and go to this link
• Underneath the "Want something in particular? Select the data files you're most interested in" section, select "Connections"
• Press the blue "Request Archive" button, and enter your LinkedIn password in the pop-up box 
• After a few minutes, you'll get an email (in whichever email you use to sign into LinkedIn) that "Your LinkedIn data archive is ready".  Click the link, and then the "Request Archive" button on the page it takes you to
• When the ZIP file finishes downloading, upload the contacts into the system. The instructions to do this can be found here.  
  • Please also make sure that you have email addresses associated with any contacts that you upload into the system (if you do not, our ability to enrich them and / or potentially deduplicate them with your existing contacts will be limited).

Note: as of Nov 2018, LinkedIn has removed email addresses from their export - while we will enrich them the best we can (with locations, tags, etc.), our ability to do so is reduced as a result.
