Before syncing your email and calendar, you'll configure what level of information you want to share with your teammates. This is a crucial step that balances collaboration with privacy.

Your privacy settings determine:

Understanding the Privacy Settings Interface

When you reach the Privacy Settings page, you'll see:

Contact Details Sharing

Choose how much contact information your teammates can see:

Option 1: No Information (Affects Some Functionality)

  • What teammates see: Nothing about your contacts
  • Impact: Severely limits collaboration and relationship intelligence
  • Recommended for: Generally not recommended for team environments

Option 2: Name and Job Only

  • What teammates see: Contact name and job title
  • Impact: Basic relationship mapping, limited collaboration
  • Recommended for: High-privacy environments with sensitive client relationships

Option 3: All Details (Default)

  • What teammates see: Full contact profiles, company info, relationship history
  • Impact: Good collaboration, full relationship intelligence

Option 4: All Details and Editing Abilities (Recommended)

  • What teammates see: Everything, plus ability to edit and update contact information
  • Impact: Maximum collaboration and data quality

Interaction Log Sharing

Choose how much of your communication history to share:

Option 1: No Information (Affects Some Functionality)

Option 2: Last Interaction Date Only

  • What teammates see: When you last spoke to someone

  • What teammates see: What type of communication (email/meeting) and email subjects

  • What teammates see: Meeting notes and interaction summaries, but not email content

  • What teammates see: Full email content and meeting details
  • Impact: Maximum context and collaboration

  • What teammates see: Everything, plus ability to add notes and edit interaction details

Global Sharing Settings (For All Your Contacts)

  • Apply the same settings to all your contacts
  • Simplest approach for most users
  • Good for: Consistent privacy preferences across all relationships

Differentiate Sharing Settings by Teammate

  • Customize what each teammate can see
  • Granular control over information sharing
  • Good for: Complex team structures or sensitive relationship management

How to Set Individual Permissions:

  1. Click "Differentiate sharing settings by teammate"
  2. Select a teammate from the list
  3. Choose their specific access level for contacts and interactions
