Automations - triggers and actions
At 4Degrees, we're consistently evolving how we can create more automation for your team's workflows. One way we do this is through our automations builder that is available to you in the Lists / Deals section of the product. Within those lists, the set of triggers and actions available to you are below. Note that this is in addition to:
- Stage Emails (which trigger when a record has been in a stage for longer than a threshold value you define)
- Recurring reminders (which are set at the company or contact level, and trigger when you haven't interacted with either record type for a defined period of time)
Triggers :
- No Interaction: Fires after a record has had no interaction for a specified duration.
- Stage Change: Fires when a record’s stage changes from one stage to another.
- Number Value: Fires when a numeric field meets a specified relational condition (> , < , = , !=).
- Select Value: Fires when a select field is set to a particular option.
- Days In Stage: Fires after a record has been in a certain stage for a certain number of days.
Actions:
- Change Stage: Move the record to a different stage.
- Change Select: Set a select field to a new value.
- Change Number:
- Now we see that “Change Number” can do more than just set a value—it can also perform arithmetic operations. Options include:
- = (Set): Set the number field to a specific value (e.g., set “Equity Check Needed” to 100).
- + (Add): Increase the number field by a specified value (e.g., “Equity Check Needed” + 10).
- * (Multiply): Multiply the number field by a specified factor (e.g., “Equity Check Needed” * 1.1).
- / (Divide): Divide the number field by a specified value (e.g., “Equity Check Needed” / 2).
- Now we see that “Change Number” can do more than just set a value—it can also perform arithmetic operations. Options include:
- Change Assigned: Reassign the record to a different user.
- Create Reminder: Generate a reminder for follow-up.
- Move Record To: Move the record to another pipeline or list
